Love it or hate it, you still can't deny it's a bound-to-occur situation. And one might ask how this theory goes, right? There's no visible interaction between the boys on the show. Yet, from what we DO know about Craig is that he spends a lot of time by the counsellor's office. Then, we see the 'Damien' episode, and we discover that the son of Satan's first day of school at South Park Elementary also results in being sent to the counsellor's office. Granted we use our heads a little, we can probably assume that little Damien would develop quite a habit of detentions along with that other delinquent who gets suspended all the time. Now, there's no saying whether or not any sort of aquaintence HAS to occur -- but given that this is the world of fan-fiction, it's one of those highly speculative 'what-if' scenarios that is very practical if you put some thought into it. You put one boy in detention and you put the other one there as well. Eventually, they'll end up meeting each other. It's just common logic. Naturally, it has more ground to it than a completely out of nowhere match-up like... DamienxClyde for example. Now THAT would be WTF? Right? But even then, we could still back it up by saying that the demon spawn has 'connections' with Craig's friends through their quality time spent together at Mr.Mackey's office. So, it's unavoidable -- they have to KNOW each other in order for that to occur. So, why not just make things simple and put Craig and Damien together in the first place? It's definitely a 'behind-the-scenes' affair if you know what I mean. However, it's rather disappointing that the fandom in general is so closed-minded to these kind of things. But what can we do? Just wait it out and hope that there will finally be an acceptance for this 'shunned' pairing. It really shouldn't have to be this way.
Let's help raise awareness to creativity & the phenomenon that is 'hidden' fanon a.k.a things we can only guess might be going on while the camera is focused elsewhere.
Like for example, Craig + Damien getting to know each other at that reckless place called detention.

It's the most believable explanation for it anyway.
And from what we know about Damien, he's really a lot like his father despite such 'ferocious' temper tantrums. Or in other words, he's somewhat of a wimp - so we know how that goes, huh?
